Contributing cryptocurrency is a secure, simple, and speedy process. Utilizing the donation form available on this page streamlines the charitable giving experience into three swift steps:

After making a contribution, you will receive an automatically generated tax receipt. This receipt will be sent to the email address you provide after a certain amount of confirmations of the transaction on the blockchain. This confirmation serves as a crucial step in accurately calculating your taxes and closing the loop on your donation.
Crypto donations are a reliably tax-efficient way to give to charity. Your crypto donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law if you pay taxes in the U.S. By making a charitable gift, you may also be eligible to significantly reduce what you would otherwise owe in capital gains taxes.

- Specify your gift amount.
- Provide your email and address information for the receipt.
- Enter your brokerage account details.
- Electronically sign and complete your gift!
Once you make your donation, you will receive an email notification from The Giving Block that your gift is being processed. Occasionally, additional steps with your broker may be required. The email will include instructions on any additional steps.
Stock donations are typically processed within 6-8 business days through The Giving Block in partnership with Renaissance Charitable Foundation, with possible delays during December or when dealing with restricted stock.
