Ax-2 will deliver more than 20 payloads sponsored by the ISS National Lab to the orbiting outpost.
These investigations span diverse disciplines, from life sciences to biomanufacturing, materials science, technology demonstrations, and education projects.
Through this investigation and others that will follow, the team aims to better understand how growing stem cells in space could be harnessed for valuable biomanufacturing applications.
Researchers are aiming to uncover new insights into protecting astronaut health while benefiting cancer treatment on Earth.
In an effort to improve treatments for patients on Earth by better understanding how cancer spreads, a team of researchers is sending cancer organoids to space.
Researchers are sending bioengineered liver and kidney constructs to space to explore ways to help reduce the number of people waiting for vital organs.
