NASA’s Space Life Sciences Training Program (SLSTP) is a challenging 10-week experience at NASA’s Ames Research Center that pairs students with NASA scientists and engineers working on cutting-edge bioscience research. Open to upcoming junior/senior undergraduate students and recent graduates who will be entering graduate school in the fall of 2023.Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years old in high academic standing (GPA of 3.2 or higher).

SUMMER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES – HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL

Virtual
A virtual four-week training program sponsored by NASA’s Ames Research Center immersing students in space life sciences with a specific focus on computational biology and omics-based bioinformatics research, the science of collecting and analyzing complex biological data such as genetic codes. Open to upcoming junior/senior high school students and high school STEM educators.
