The ISS National Lab is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for flight projects to the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory for both commercial and academic investigators. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit enabling technologies that increase the return on the U.S. investment in the ISS National Lab and enhance the value of uses of the space station research platform. To execute this mission, the ISS National Lab seeks technologies, research platforms, and operational concepts that enable new or improve existing analytical capabilities to benefit space science on the ISS National Lab for Earth benefit. The ISS National Lab will support this process through grant funding, facilitation of service-provider interactions, and flight coordination to and from the ISS National Lab.

STEP-1 PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
For this solicitation, the ISS National Lab is adopting a 2-Step proposal process for which the Letter of Intent (LOI) is being replaced by a required Step-1 Proposal. The ISS National Lab was accepting Step-1 Proposals March 10 – April 10, 2014.
