The SpaceX Dragon capsule is targeted to launch at 4:43 p.m. Friday, April 8 on a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying crew supplies, scientific research and hardware to the orbital laboratory to support the Expedition 47 and 48 crews.

ISS National Lab sponsored-payloads representing a variety of scientific disciplines and containing the potential for Earth benefits, launched to the ISS on April 8 onboard the SpaceX Dragon capsule.
Through its partnership with the ISS National Lab, Eli Lilly & Co. in 2016 will be sending four separate payloads into microgravity. Starting with SpaceX-8, Lilly will send investigations looking at tissue wasting and protein crystallography.
Eli Lilly & Company is willing to go the extra mile for research and development—230 miles straight up, in fact—to the International Space Station.
The mission patch developed by Marvel represents all payloads intended for the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory in calendar year 2016.
