Services Provided:
Space Tango enables R&D, manufacturing and bioengineering in microgravity. Our mission is to create significant new industries to improve the lives of people on Earth. We continually work to improve the analytics, automation, and data flow of our capabilities. Together these products and services enable a range of customers to use microgravity as a new medium for discovery – from life and physical sciences to biomedical and materials manufacturing.
ISS Hardware:
TangoLab Facilities | TangoLab™ facilities are fully automated systems allowing multiple payloads to run simultaneously and independently on orbit. They provide a standardized platform and open architecture for payload modules called CubeLabs™. These CubeLabs provide interactive payload management from Earth and downlink of images and data in near real-time from the Station. While reducing the development cycle and cost for R&D and pilot manufacturing, TangoLab architecture also minimizes astronaut interaction.
P.A.U.L. Facilities | Powered Ascent Utility Locker (P.A.U.L.) is a powered locker facility certified for transport phases on visiting vehicles. It enables complex microgravity research requiring power during all flight phases. This includes biological payloads that are dependent on power during all phases of flight for media exchanges, data sensing, and general experiment maintenance. Space Tango’s P.A.U.L. provides the necessary resources for complex payloads while expanding researching capabilities on the ISS.
